This is the third Linda Loring Nature Foundation’s Virtual Science Pub. April 27th, 2020 we welcomed Mass Audubon’s Nantucket Sanctuaries Director Sam Kefferstan to discuss their organization’s Coastal Waterbird Program. Sam covered a day in the life of a shorebird monitor and the role the program plays in state and federal efforts to protect threatened and endangered species such as Piping Plover, Least and Roseate Terns, and American Oystercatchers.
