This video kicks off the second LLNF BioBlitz for Nantucket, a great chance to meet fellow nature lovers on the island! With spring coming, we look forward to enjoying the warm sunshine and the peace of nature.

Using a public, free app (iNaturalist), anyone can upload photos of interesting plants or creatures seen during a walk to share them with the community. iNaturalist also has online maps that show what other people have spotted, and where they found it! Take a quality photo, and iNaturalist’s community members of scientists and nature enthusiasts will identify what you found! You’ll end up with a list of what you have seen while watching spring emerge on Nantucket.
