Offered weekly on Wednesday mornings at 8AM from May to October. LLNF leads participants to birding hotspots around the island and help them learn about the birds they see!

Plant and Nature Walks

Offered every Friday at 10AM during the summer. Explore the unique habitats of the LLNF property, discover our flora and fauna, and see what's in season as you walk along our gently rolling trail.

Snake Slithers

This is a family program. Kids are welcome but we require them to be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult. In this fun class we'll look for snakes and learn more about the on-going research we undergo to study the different species found at our property. Tuesdays at 2:30 PM during July and August.

Story Walk

Open daily from sun-up to sun-down, the trail-side story walk offers kids and families and incentive to keep going as the book progresses along a short mowed trail.
